Our vision at Life of Colour is to spread colour and creativity into the lives of families and communities across the globe through our portable, playful art supplies.
In today’s fast-paced, modern world, we are over-worked, over-connected and under increasing levels of pressure, stress and overwhelm. Many are looking for ways to opt-out, slow down and reconnect with what truly matters, but don’t know where to start.
At Life of Colour, we believe the answer lies in creativity.
We are passionate about art and the many health and wellbeing benefits creative expression brings to our lives. It invites mindfulness, evokes joy and fulfilment, relieves stress and anxiety, and keeps our minds happy and healthy.
Hello I am Jodi, wonderful to meet you
As a young child, I adored art more than anything in life. Nowhere was I happier than in an art class, lost in a world of oils, acrylics and watercolour paints. But as the years passed, and the responsibilities of adulthood took hold, my creative spirit was pushed to the side. It wasn’t until I had children of my own, and resurfaced from the baby years, that I rediscovered my love of art. As I started creating with my own little girls, I found that the product options for small children were sometimes poor in quality, or messy to use, and that for adults, the tools were often expensive. There was no middle ground.
And so I created Life of Colour – with a dream to create good quality, affordable and portable art products to empower art lovers like myself, and my children, to be creative anytime, anywhere.
Our mission is to make artistic and creative activities accessible to everyone
We want to inspire children, adults and families everywhere to ditch screen time for creativity time.
We want them to experience the benefits a more creative and conscious life can have on their wellbeing.
Community and creativity are at the core of all that we do
We are passionate about creating platforms for education and empowerment, and for like-minded creatives to gather, share and create together. Our online Facebook Group is home to an engaged community of art lovers and our future vision is to expand this group offline to organise face-to-face meet-ups so our customers can explore new ways to unleash their creative spirit.
We also supply our products to a wide range of businesses across Australia, including schools and disability centres, and offer a full range of online resources, including instructional videos andart classes, to educate our community in different techniques using our products.
We believe in Giving Back
Every year we partner with one main charity and throughout the year we donate our products and resources to a number of different organisations. We would love to partner with you, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
