In this video masterclass, artist Shallal Bader will teach you step by step how to create a spring cherry blossom tree using Life Of Colour watercolour brush pens, Silky paint stix and acrylic paint pens.

This self-paced painting workshop experience includes:

  • Video lesson
  • PDF worksheet
  • Choose the package including materials to also receive: set of watercolour brush pens + water brush, Silky paint stix, 1 black and 1 white acrylic paint pen and A5 mixed media paper cards.

This art workshop is suitable for all ages, making it a great parent and child workshop.

A donation will be made to Sydney Children's Hospital for each workshop purchased: 10% of the cost of the video workshop or $10 for every bundle including materials.

Our Flower Project workshops are inspired by Ayla (8) who during her Chemotherapy Treatment decided to do a new flower each week with her art teacher. 10% of the cost of the workshop will be donated to Sydney Children's hospital in her name.

The step by step instructions will help you gain more skills and understanding on how to blend and layer colours, create compositions that have interesting negative and positive areas.

The workshop will help you become more familiar with your Life of Colour Mediums and have a better awareness of how different flowers are created.

What is the Flower Project about?

When Ayla, now 8, was undergoing chemotherapy at the Sydney Children's Hospital, she found solace in painting. Over the course of more than a year, with the guidance of her art teacher Tracey, she painted one flower for each letter of the alphabet.

The Flower Project aims to raise funds for Sydney Children's Hospital as Ayla and her parents want to give back for all the love and support they received while she has been undergoing her treatment.

Together with Tracey from Live Love Learn and the Pilosof family we want to continue to support this beautiful project which we hope will help and heal all who participate in the workshops.

Please support these workshops. 10% of the cost of the workshop will be donated to Sydney Children's hospital, in Ayla's name

All Ayla wants is to bring happiness to the world. Let's help her make this happen.

Blossoms of hope.

I love flowers and the video gave me confidence to try something new. I did have to watch several times to keep up though. It was a lovely experience especially as it was a nice way to help raise funds for the Childrens hospital and it helped me appreciate all the work involved in caring for young cancer patients and how art can help in the process.

Thank you so much for the amazing feedback Toni!
Creativity is truly the best medicine! So glad to hear.
